Electric unicycle on roads: Contested — the sources disagree
Two readings of California law give opposite answers, and no court has picked one. Plan around the stricter: a wheel that fails the state’s narrow “board” definition is a motor vehicle that cannot be registered, and an unregistered motor vehicle may not be driven on a public street.
